I mean, you don’t see Trump talking to the Chinese directly, but you see Putin talking with both, which makes you wonder through what channels the U.S. & China actually send each other messages other than public economic & technology use of force?
The US and China do talk and dance. It's a diplomatic game. Russia is ultimately the side show even though it's felt more closely here in Europe and play a part. Russia needs China if for nothing else to take US attention away from Ukraine.
